Barden bearings race ahead on F1 in Schools championship car
09-12-2013 | BARDEN CORPORATION | PLYMOUTH, UK
Barden bearings have again been used by the F1 in Schools world champions to scoop the top award. Barden's miniature type, hybrid ceramic bearings were used on the winning car by the A1 Racing team, made up of six teenage students from two schools in Australia. The bearings were supplied to the team by Barden distributor, CGB Precision Products, based in Victoria, Australia.
The F1 in Schools challenge is a unique competition in which students aged between 11 and 18 from schools, colleges and youth groups around the world design, analyse, manufacture, test and race a miniature F1 car.
